Yay, I finished, and only in two days! Don't know how long I spent on it in total. Not excessively long. So let's pretend the mane and forelock and part above the eye don't look like crap and call it done. Whoohoo!
Anyway, done for practice with color pencils (Prisma color), size is 9in x 10in. Sorry for the crap scan, I tried to adjust it so that it looks more like what it does for real, but it's not too hot. H'oh well.

Hey, there's always time to get better. When I stopped, I was jumping, but not too high - 2 ft. Now I probably would only barely be able to hang on at a canter. Or worse, sitting the trot. Yikes.
sitting trots are evil, as is trotting around for long periods of time in 2-point. my techer decide once that my legs weren't strong enough and made me do it for the whole lesson. painful.
